In this dissertation,the electrochemical sensors for the detection of heavy metal ions based on ionic liquid modified carbon paste electrodes were fabricated and developed.Heavy metals can result in chronic pollution,which have a characteristic of hidden,irreversible and long-term,great harm to the plants and animals.So the pollution of heavy metal ions to the environment can not be ignored.Therefore,it is important to establish highly sensitive detection method for heavy metal ions.Room temperature ionic liquids(RTILs),complexing agent,nanomaterials have exhibited the unique physical and chemical properties,which can be used in the modified electrodes.The paper can be summarized as follows:1.A carbon ionic liquid electrode(CILE)was fabricated by using ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulphate([EMIM]EtOSO3)as the modifier and further used as the working electrode for the sensitive anodic stripping voltammetric detection of trace Pb2.2.8-hydroxyquinoline(8-HQ)and ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulphate([EMIM]EtOSO3)modified carbon paste electrode was fabricated and used for the sensitive determination of trace Cd2+.3.1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol(PAN)and ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium tetrafluoroborate(EMIMBF4)modified carbon paste electrode(PAN-IL-CPE)was fabricated and used for the sensitive determination of bismuth(?)4.Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid(EDTA),gold nanoparticles(nano Au),1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate(EMIMBF4)modified carbon paste electrode(EATA-Au-IL-CPE)was fabricated and used for the sensitive determination of Cu2+.The affecting factors containing supporting electrolyte,pH of solution,amount of modifier,accumulation time and deposition potential were investigated.The influence of common metal ions on the determination of heavy metal ions was also investigated.Under the optimal conditions,the fabricated chemically modified carbon paste electrodes were successfully used as the working electrode for the detection of Pb2+,Cd2+,Bi3+,Cu2+.The typical differential pulse anodic stripping voltammograms of heavy metal ions on different working electrodes were compared.The proposed methods were successfully applied to the real samples analysis with satisfactory results.
