Over the past decade, V-Process casting is widely used in China.Like Japan,the United States and other countries, mainly used V-process to product the castings steel, which has high dimensional accuracy, low surface roughness.However, due to poor castings alloy composition and slow cooling rate, unreasonable structure,which hinders the performance and productivity improvement.Domestic large-scale engineering machinery, such as:excavator bucket and ripper, mostly welding by steel platel.This topic is based on Huazhong University of Science and Technology cooperation project with Yichang Wanxin Casting Co., Ltd,using V-process to batch product ripper integrality for the frist time.During practice carried out research on V-process efficiency promotion and the casting optimization structure.One of the main points of product steel castings is to ensure the ratio coordination of steel alloy composition.Thus,I went to Wuhan Iron and Steel(Group) Research Institute to studied for the components and steel smelting,and developed a reasonable composition ratio for bucket and ripper specific conditions.Then design and analysis the ripper.casting process,and use the InteCAST to carry on the simulate solidification, combined with the simulation results and the actual production requirements to improve the shrinkage,sticky sand and other defects;Design the pattern and casting process,then produced the casting with high dimensional accuracy, low surface roughness,Finally, the paper made further optimization for the structure of ripper,and using ANSYS finite element carries out static structural mechanics simulation and analysis, combined with the actual application put forward better design for casting structure, laying the foundation for post-production better performance castings.
