Servo feed drive system is the important part of the machine tool system in CNC. The design of feed drive system is needed to meet certain performance requirements, which is to ensure positioning precision and dynamic performance of feed drive system, also to ensure the accuracy of processing parts in machine tool. As the requirements of machining quality is increasing with the mechanical products, higher requirements of the quality of the CNC machine is put forward, especially the overall performance of the CNC machine. In order to improve the dynamic performance of machine tool feed system, the tracking precision and machining efficiency, online optimization of control parameters and the matching control parameters of servo feed system is particularly important. Mechanical parameters and the parameters of relevant servo controller are identified, which has become an important research direction. Then the related theory modeling and related parameters for identification and optimization is a very important research task.A single feed axis of the numerical control machine is regarded as the research object, according to the principle of the dynamics of the servo feed system. And the dynamic equation is deduced, which aims to solve the equation of the relationship between the input of the motor angular displacement and the output of the axial displacement. Then the transfer function of the dynamic characteristics is established. The suitable inverse repeat m-sequence is selected as the excitation signal. As a result, the transfer function of the servo feed system is identified through the selection of excitation signal and the identification experiment of the system. The transfer function of modeling theory is obtained by the simulation model, and comparing with the transfer function of theoretical modeling, then the parameters of the mechantronic system can be identified and solved. After the identified parameters of the servo feed system are input to the numerical control system, the optimization of the tracking error is realized by the comparison with the tracking error of linear feed axis, so as to improve the performance of the servo feed system.
