| Stainless steel/carbon steel composite plate is a kind of method using explosion or rolling process to achieve the new composite materials,which can reduce the dosage of rare metals, and improve resource utilization rate. It has both good surface performance of stainless steel and the strength and machinability of the carbon steel, to save precious metals and the enhance material performance.In the process of traditional double layer symmetrical rolling,composite board usually bend to the metal side which the deformation resistance is bigger, this is because the stretching deformation difference of two layers of metal in the rolling process. Asymmetric rolling is using the speed difference of upper and lower roll in the rolling process,making full use of the strong relative sliding of the grassroots and cladding surface and forming a asymmetrically rolling zone. It both offers temperature for atomic diffusion, and accelerates bursting of the surface oxide layer and the hardening layer which makes fresh metal exposed.Beside, reasonable asynchronous rate can reduce the deformation degree differences between two layers of metal, reduce the ladle flatness defects.This paper based on the actual production needs in a chemical plant,discussed the technology of asymmetric rolling of large thickness of stainless steel/carbon steel composite board production, summed up the influence on the physical properties of composite board, bonding strength and the influence of strip shape at different speed ratio and pressure ratio.(1)Using FEM simulate the upper roll diameter 320 mm and the lower roll diameter 260 mm, different ratio of 1.23, explored the effect on flatness and property of composite plate at different reduction rate(15%、20%、30%、40%). The best reduction rate 15% was confirmed at the different speed rate 1.23;(2)Using FEM simulate the reduction rate 15%, explored the effect on flatness and property of composite plate at different speed rate(1、1.05、1.08、1.1、1.2). The best different speed rate 1.08 was confirmed at the different reduction rate 15%;(3)Rolling through the school laboratory, the effect on mechanical properties shear strength and strip shape has been studied. Compared with the finite element simulation results, identified the most suitable different reduction ratio is 50% at the different speed ratio.(4)Rolling through the industrial field, the effect on mechanical properties shear strength and strip shape has been studied at different speed rate 1 and 1.0074. Compared with the finite element simulation results, we can see that adopt reasonable asynchronous rate and small reduction rate is helpful to improve the organization and performance of double layer composite board and reduce the plate flatness defects.Rolling from ANSYS simulation to lab, summed up the optimum parameters of asynchronous rolling composite board, and then apply the results to production. This kind of research method, can avoid the test which costs big and has a long cycle. This will play a certain reference function to big thickness asymmetric rolling. |
