In recent years, supramolecular chemistry that based on hydrogen bond or coordination bond has received extensive attention due to their structural diversity and controllability.Hydrazide compounds, which feature multiple coordination atoms and active sites for hydrogen bonding, have become a hot topic because of its important research value in the areas of host-guest chemistry, magnetic chemistry, and the stereochemistry.Previous studies have shown that the modification of ending group for mono-armed hydrazide compound could influence their supramolecular self-assemble behavior, consequently to regulate the supramolecular structure. In this context, the study of the two-armed hydrazide compounds were carried out by the function group design of the ending groups and the linkers between two arms, the spectroscopy properties of the resulting compounds were discussed,as well as the supramolecular assembly features. The main work was summarized as follows.1.Twelve two-armed hydrazide compounds were prepared and characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared spectrum analysis, high resolution mass spectrum,UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy. The relationship between the structure and fluorescence properties of the series compounds was discussed. For the second, the fluorescence detection of anions and metal ion for compound L3-SH were studied, showing that compound L3-SH could exhibit fluorescence sense of F-anion with detection limit up to 10-4 M.2.X-ray single crystal diffraction experiment was carried out for compounds L1-BH,L4-PH and the crystal structures were analyzed and discussed. The influence of the solvent molecules' hydrogen-bonding ability on the molecular structure symmetry was discussed,as well as the multiple hydrogen bonding effects of hydrazide compounds in the supramolecular assembly. In this context, the crystallization of compound L1-SH were also studied, showing that the compound exhibit diverse crystallizations and microstructures in different solvents. When the solvent is ethanol, the crystallization appears interesting symmetry breaking phenomenon and strong anisotropy of powder reflection circular dichroism.3.For the compounds of L2-BH and L4-BH with the same ending group of benzoyl hydrazine, their coordination self-assembly behavior involved transition metal ions were studied, offering a crystalline coordination compound with twelve nuclear tubular structure[Cu12(L2-BH)6],and two metal-organic gels of L4-BH-Cu and L4-BH-Zn.The[Cu12(L2-BH)6]crystal was characterized by the help of X-ray single crystal diffraction, infrared spectrum analysis,UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy,variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility. The results suggest that the complex has ferromagnetic property in low temperature. The gelation condition of L4-BH-Cu gel-and L4-BH-Zn gel were studied,as well as their characterization including infrared spectrum, fluorescence spectrum, dynamic rheological characterization,AFM etc.The influence of the ending group's modification and the species of metal ions on the gel property was discussed.
