| Polyethylene has many excellent properties such as good processing characteristics,low production costs and high mechanical properties,which also makes it widely used in packaging,films,wire and cable,and composite materials.However,the nonpolar and inert characteristics of polyethylene make it incompatible with other materials,and easy accumulation of static electricity,which in some areas limit the scope of its application.In this paper polyethylene was used as matrix material,a non-formaldehyde plywood was developed,it consists of a modified polyethylene film and eucalyptus composition,which expand the scope of application of polyethylene material.Then the influence on the mechanical properties and antistatic properties of modified graphene of polyethylene was also been studied.Maleic anhydride-grafted polyethylene(LDPE-g-MAH)was synthesized by the way of suspension polymerization.The LDPE-g-MAH and polyethylene pellets was mixed and prepared modified polyethylene film,which made the polyethylene film bonding with wood materials by physical bonding way and chemical bonding way.Research shows that when the LDPE-g-MAH added in an amount of 20 parts,the tensile strength of the new formaldehyde-free wood-based panels reached 1.14 MPa.Through the optimization to the processing parameters to obtain the best hot temperature is 155 ℃,the best hot pressure of is 0.9 Mpa.The graphite oxide was prepared from natural graphite by the modified Hummers method,then using the y-aminopropyl triethoxysilane(KH-550)to modify GO.The prepared functionalized graphene oxide(F-GO)has good dispersibility in an organic solvent.Finally,the F-GO/PE composite diaphragm has been prepared.At the same time explore the impact of F-GO addition on the mechanical strength of composite materials and other aspects.Research shows that when F-GO join a relatively small amount,it folds layered form uniformly dispersed in the polyethylene matrix,F-GO’s high reinforcement and good interfacial interaction with polymer makes its mechanical strength has significantly improved,when F-GO join a relatively more amount,reunion will occur,which resulting in decreased mechanical properties.The GO was modified by Isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI)to obtain functionalized graphene oxide(IP-GO),then using hydrazine hydrate to reduce IP-GO by preparing IP-RGO nanocomposites.The functionalized Graphene/PE composite films were subsequently obtained by solution coating method on a coating machine.Structures and properties of the functionalized Graphene/PE Composite films were characterized by FTIR,XRD,XPS,FE-SEM and Digital Megger.The results show that isocyanate groups remain on the IP-RGO,while most of the oxygen-containing group on GO is reduced,its electrical conductivity is restored.Meanwhile,the prepared IP-RGO are evenly dispersed in PE matrix.Comparing to pure PE,the volume resistivity of IP-RGO/PE composite film is decreased by about seven orders of magnitude when the mass fraction of IP-RGO is 4%,which antistatic performance improved significantly. |
