In recent years, transition metal complexes have been used widely applications due to their multi-functional properties, which was caused more and more concentration. In this paper, the preparation, inhibition activity study of transition metal complexes and their application in C-C coupling reaction were described in detail.Organic chelate molecules were selected as ligands to synthesize transition metal complexes though hydrothermal method or gas absorption. These complexes have been characterized through elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The antifungal activities of Zn(II),Cd(II),Co(II),Cu(II)complexes and ligands against Colletotrichum musae(Nanning,Guangxi)have been screened in vitro by using DMSO as a solvent.Their antifungal potency has also been discussed. The DMSO and carbendazin were used for blank control group and positive control group, respectively. The results demonstrated that the antifungal activities of complexes were more excellent than ligands or carbendazim.Cu(I)complexes were applied for the C-C self-coupling reaction of phenylboronic acid which was a model reaction for optimizing the best reaction conditions including solvents and bases. Then these copper(I)complexes were employed to phenylboronic acid derivatives, and the study showed that the catalytic activities of these complexes were found to be excellent for self-coupling of arylboronic acids.
