| A series of ecological damage was brought with the economic development.The regional environmental carrying capacity faces enormous challenges.Traditional model of one-sided pursuit of rapid economic growth has no longer adapted to the needs of current and future development.So it is particularly important to make sustainable development of population,society,economy,resources and environment in the ranget of environmental carrying capacity.Quanzhou city as a city which is highly dependent on the secondary industry,it is worth to pay attention to whether the energy consumption and resource consumption in Quanzhou city is in the range of environmental carrying capacity.The data of biological resources,water resources and energy resources from 2005 to 2014 in Quanzhou were used in this paper to calculate the ecological footprint,water footprint and carbon footprint of Quanzhou city from 2005 to 2014.Three carrying capacity indexes of ecological carrying capacity,water resources carrying capacity and energy carbon carrying capacity were calculated at the same time.Descriptive statistical analysis was made on the footprint structure and carrying capacity structure of three kinds of bio productive land.The environmental carrying capacity and dynamic change of Quanzhou city were evaluated by three indexes of ecological surplus and deficit,water resources surplus and deficit,and net carbon footprint.Finally,the weight coefficient of the three indexes was designed,and the comprehensive footprint and the comprehensive carrying capacity were calculated.The overall environmental carrying capacity and sustainable development status of Quanzhou city were evaluated by using the difference of comprehensive footprint and comprehensive carrying capacity.The following conclusions:(1)About the ecological environment,the ecological environment carrying capacity of Quanzhou is mainly ecological deficit,the ecological deficit decreased from 1.51hm2/cap to 1.39hm2/cap,there is a trend of gradual improvement.(2)About the water environment,Quanzhou is in the state of ecological surplus of water resources,the annual mean is the water resources surplus 0.15hm2/cap,the water resources carrying capacity can basically meet the needs of different local water consumption products,but there is a gradual deterioration of the trend,Between 2005 and 2014,the water environment changed from water surplus 0.81 hm2/cap to water deficit 0.85 hm2/cap,the trend of ecological surplus gradually reduced.(3)About the carbon resources and environment,the energy carbon environment is mainly in the carbon carrying capacity surplus state,carbon carrying capacity can basically guarantee the local energy consumption of carbon emissions.But the net carbon footprint between 2005 and 2014 changed from-0.81 hm2/cap to 0.85 hm2/cap,the development prospects are not good,net carbon footprint gradually increased.Based on the above three indicators,the comprehensive footprint of Quanzhou has gradually increased,and the comprehensive carrying capacity has been gradually reduced.The comprehensive index rose from-0.24 to 0.76 from 2005 to 2014,after 2010 the environment is mainly in the state of ecological deficit.The development from ecological surplus to ecological deficit,the environmental carrying capacity has been unable to load and meet the comprehensive footprint that is brought by local biological production and consumption,water consumption and carbon emission.Finally,the suggestions were put forward to increase environmental carrying capacity and reduce the footprint indexes in Quanzhou based on the changes of the above present situation and the trend. |
