Rolling processing is the backbone of the iron and steel industry nowadays,the production process is complex in the hot rolling mill workshop with a large number of flammable liquid and power cable.The fire risk is high that may cause great economic damage to property.Fireproof fabric is always used in the production workshop to ensure the fire safety.This paper studies the specific application solutions of fireproof fabric in the thermal mill workshop by cone calorimetry and entity fire experiments.1.The cone calorimeterFive kinds of fireproof fabric samples(asbestos fiber fireproof fabric,ceramic fiber fireproof fabric,silicone fireproof fabric,glue fire fabric and carbon fiber fireproof fabric)were selected,and the influence of different radiation power on fireproof fabric samples was studied by using cone calorimetry.The results show that the samples can be ignited under radiation;There is a linear relationship between the reciprocal of the root mean square of the ignition time with the radiation intensity.Compared heat release rate of the five materials with the same thickness at the radiation power of 35 kW/m2,in terms of the heat release rates of the five materials with the same thickness at the radiation power of 35 kW/m2,the heat release rate and peak value of the effective combustion heat of the carbon fiber fire fabric were the biggest among the samples,which were 272.59 kW/m2 and 529.52 kJ/g respectively.Comparing the combustion performance of each sample,the intensity sequence is silicone fireproof fabric>asbestos fiber fireproof fabric>ceramic fiber fireproof fabric>carbon fiber fireproof fabric>glue fire fabric.2.Entity fire experimentThis paper studies the specific application solutions of power cable fireproof fabric package.By pre-test,the combustion regime of 6mm thickness asbestos fiber fireproof package under heptane pool fire and hydraulic oil pool fire is compared.The flame temperature of heptane pool fire is higher than hydraulic oil pool fire,the inner temperature of fireproof fabric is consistent.In 5 minutes,the protection of cable and temperature changes are consistent.The fireproof with 6mm thickness can protect the cable effectively in 5 minutes.With the same thickness,asbestos fiber and ceramic fiber fireproof fabric wraps the optimal performance in the three high temperature resistant fireproof fabric,the silicone wraps the optimal performance in the two waterproof samples.By Formal experiment,five fireproof fabric order is ceramic fiber fireproof fabric>silicagel fireproof fabric>asbestos fiber fireproof fabric>carbon fiber fireproof fabric>coating fireproof fabric.Asbestos fiber fireproof fabric and ceramic fiber fireproof fabric are chosen to packaged combination with silicagel fireproof fabric,it turns out that,when the outer of fireproof fabric is not brushed oil,the experimental condition of silica fireproof fabric(inner)+ ceramic fiber fire fireproof fabric(outer)package runs optimal performance?When the outer of fireproof fabric is not brushed oil,asbestos fiber fire fireproof fabric(inner)+ silica fireproof fabric(outer)package runs optimal performance.The study of this article can provide guidance and reference for the same type manufacturing enterprises.
