"High-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment" is the model of China's equipment manufacturing industry, and also is one of the 16 major projects in"National Medium and Long-term Science and Technology Development Plan(2006-2020)"; With the rapid development of the national economy and the continuous improvement of the level of manufacturing technology, Precision boring and milling complex machining center as a mechanical manufacturing in the production of large-scale infrastructure equipment, aerospace, aviation, locomotives, ships, electric power, military and other fields in the manufacture of products has an important position. CNC machining technology is one of the basic technology of modern manufacturing industry,its level of development and scale represents a country's industrial strength and manufacturing technology level, With the United States Industrial Internet and the proposed of German industrial 4.0 concept, CNC machining technology in intelligent manufacturing field has a pivotal position. Complex box parts are the basic parts of mechanical parts, it is the mechanical parts of the sleeve, gear and other parts assembled into a whole,so that the entire body in accordance with established sports relations to coordinate the transfer the movement and power, box processing quality Directly affect the entire machine or parts accuracy, performance and life. For this complex, high-speed, sophisticated modern CNC machine tools and high flexibility, ultra-high-speed, ultra-precision, high intelligence machinethe such as complex boring and milling machining center, its main product is box-like parts CNC machining key technology research related to the performance of machine tools to ensure consistency of the accuracy of the parts, while saving costs and shorten the production cycle. This paper will based on above content to TX1600G boring and milling machining center for the study of its complex box CNC machining for a number of key technologies and theory expounded:(1) Through the boring and milling machining center and NC post-processing background and significance of a comprehensive discussion of CNC machining box equipment and post-processing at home and abroad in-depth study of the status quo.It is very important to generate the NC program which can meet the machining requirements through the related operation. It is very important to tailor the post-processing file corresponding to the cutter location code according to the CNC machine tool structure characteristic and the NC system characteristic of CNC system and boring and milling machine center.(2) Based on the analysis of the structural characteristics and technical parameters of the self - developed TX1600G precision compound boring and milling machining center,the platform of the digital alignment system is analyzed. The geometric analysis and optimization algorithm is used to process the origin, side and hole of the complex box parts. The origin and side processing coordinate system of the box parts are established. The algorithms for the origin and the side machining are put forward by selecting and measuring the feature points of the parts. Combining the Characteristics of Hole System to Determine the Optimal Path of Hole Machining of Box Parts.(3) The complex box parts are processed and analyzed. The process route is worked out and programmed, and the UG / CAM model is built to generate NC programs by automatic programming. After analyzing the data of the machine,data of the boring and milling machine center and the data files of the CNC system, the TX1600G boring and milling machining center is developed by UG / Post-Builder and TCL language to develop the special post-processing system. The NC programming system and NC machining Simulation, processing information on the bridge.(4) Based on Vericut, the motion simulation model of TX1600G precision compound boring and milling machine center was built, and the numerical control system was configured to carry out NC machining and simulation of complex box.
