Waste rubber tires have high recycling value,its recycling has been the worldwide technical problems,also the problem of environmental protection.Cryogenic grinding technology,which has the characteristics of easy crushing the material,such us rubber,which is difficult to be crushed under ambient conditions,the required crush power is small,no secondary pollution,etc..It is a low carbon energy-saving green remanufacturing process that products fine reclaimed rubber powder by grinding waste tires at low temperature,which has good application prospects.So it has a positive significance that design of a fine grinding device which can be carried out at low temperature,then use related equipment and technology for further deep processing to make the rubber powder that through the grinding into reclaimed powder which has the high-value utilization.In view of the problem of low temperature grinding equipment and high-value reuse of waste rubber tires,this paper does some work as follows:(1)In order to determine the parameters of the equipment,the mechanical properties of rubber at the vitrification state should be known first.First of all,a series of low temperature experiments are carried out with liquid nitrogen as a cold source.In the test,the rubber samples of the waste tires reach to the vitrification state when the temperature reduce to-56?.At that state,the tensile strength of the sample is 98 MPa,and the compressive strength is 114.6MPa,anti impact energy is about 9~12 J.(2)According to the process of normal temperature crushing and combine with the advantages of the low temperature grinding,the process of rubber tire grinding which combine with normal and low temperature is studied.Characterization of morphology for traditional and cryogenic crumb rubber powder are observed respectively by Scanning Electron Microscope,the surface of traditional crumb rubber powder is uneven and in a shape of burr,but cryogenic crumb rubber powder with smooth surface and it's edge present a shape of obtuse angle.(3)Comparing the different grinding method and combining with the characteristics of low temperature grinding,then determine the low temperature grinder's structure using disc type structure.And then the overall design scheme of fine rubber grinding equipment of low temperature is determined.(4)Based on the design of the overall scheme and the test,the design parameters and the overall structure of the grinding machine are taken,mainly include: grinding mill,clearance adjustment mechanism of disc,lathe bed,feeding structure,transmission mechanism etc.,especially for the innovative design of the grinding mill.The purpose of this paper is to use the grinder which designed by ourselves,and use the new technology which is energy-saving and high efficiency and low pollution,to produce the required size fine rubber powder and then apply it to products with high added value,and ultimately hope to achieve the high-value reuse of waste rubber tires.
