LNG storage tank is the key equipment of liquefied natural gas storage,the security has very important significance for the development of national economy and stability of social life.Due to its ultra-low internal storage medium,once the leak occurred,the tank will have a huge Low temperature impact.Meanwhile,the outer tank also bear outside load such as the earthquake,wind pressure and snow load,etc.Therefore,the structure of the safety performance of external tank must be analyzed and studied.Since LNG ultra-low-temperature characteristics,so in the design,manufacture and installation of an LNG storage tank must be considered the characteristics of low temperature work.By using numerical simulation,temperature field strength and performance of large LNG storage tanks were detailed calculations,and conducted in-depth studies of its safety performance.The main contents are as follows:firstly,according to a large LNG storage tank prototype,a numerical model of the LNG storage tank temperature field analysis and structural strength of the study;secondly,the LNG storage tanks highest level,the lowest level and leakage conditions of temperature analysis and research,but also on the BOG analysis and calculation;Thirdly,LNG in weight,hydrostatic testing,air pressure and intensity seismic conditions were analyzed and calculated,as well as internal and external tank were buckling analysis,a comprehensive study of its safety performance.
