Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites have been widely used in aerospace,automotive,sporting goods and other fields because of the higher strength and modulus,chemical corrosion resistance,excellent electrical,etc.However,Machining composite materials is a rather complex task owing to their laminated structure,anisotropy and lower coefficient of thermal conductivity.especially in the field of precision grinding processing.it exhibits considerable problems in grinding process such as the easily accumulated of heat,the severely wear of wheel,thermal degradation,etc,which will seriously affect the durability of the tool.So it is important theoretical significance and practical value to realize high surface integrity.In this paper,According to the difficulty of machining Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites,the theoretical,experimental and finite element simulation have been used to study on the grinding temperature of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites.The main works of this thesis are as followed:(1)Based on the analysis of grinding system,the influence factors on grinding temperature was investigated,including the machining parameters,cooling liquid,the material of grinding wheel and the parameters of the work-piece.The heat transfer mechanism,the models of heat source and the distribution proportion have been discussed.A rectangle heat source and the distribution proportion of C.GUO were used in the calculating of heat flux.(2)The finite element model of grinding temperature of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites was built.Then we have carried the simulation on grinding of Carbon Fiber Reinforced Composites,obtained distributed of the temperature field and acquired influence which various grinding parameter to the temperature field.It can predict the temperature field of grinding process by the method of this thesis.(3)Build the grinding temperature testing experimental platform of CFRP.grinding temperature was measured by sandwiched foil thermocouple.The influence of grinding parameter and grinding method on grinding temperature were investigated.The comparison between simulation results and experiments results verified the rationality of the simulation method and results.The temperature grinding empirical formula is established by the SPSS software.
