Cloth simulation,is used to create the lifelike cloth and get its real dynamic effects.Along with the progress of the hardware performance,various kinds of virtual reality applications is becoming.Cloth simulation covers a wide range of subjects,including computer graphics,physics dynamics,finite element analysis,material mechanics and computational geometry,etc..Because of the complex physical properties of cloth,how to enhance the reality of cloths is a challenging research topic.The reality of cloths is mainly embodied in two properties:the movement and deformation of cloths.In this paper,we are interested in the two key physical properties of cloths and research on them in the field of cloth simulation.The main work is as follows:1)analyse the Lagrange equations of cloths by using the Lagrange dynamics.The dynamical equations of cloths need the parameter of the kinetic energy of cloths,and the planar streteching and bending forces of the constitutive model of cloths approximated by the piecewise linear model.Finally,we get the Lagrange equations of cloths and solve it by implicit time integration method.2)implement the adaptive anisotropic remeshing algorithm based on the sizign field of cloths.Then we analyze the collision problem after the remeshing step.We use the AABB hierarchical bounding box algorithm for collision detection,and use the backtracking method and the collision response neighborhood both for collision response.The backtracking method is a simple but efficient way to solve the problem of collision response.We have done this experiment and its result shows that the adaptive remeshing algorithm improves the reality of cloths effectively.3)in order to avoid the excessive deformation in the simulation step and improve the accuracy of the strain.First,we discretize the cloth model into triangular meshes,and remesh it every frame and set a new adaptive anisotropic strain constraint by using the function of inner product reciprocal.It will map the global strain limits into the local strain limits.So it can provide the local strain limits is at the same level with the global strain limits.And we proposed the improved method to solve the optimization problems by strain limiting.Finally,we have done the experiment.The result of our ex-periment shows that our method can effectively improve the accuracy of strain limiting and enhance the reality of the simulating cloths.
