| Our nation's economy has been developing rapidly since the reform and opening up policy was put into practice.Now people whose material needs are well satisfied also begin to attach great importance to spiritual civilization construction.Many traditional handicraft techniques have come to elimination under the impact of commodity economy pattern,but with the booming trends of discovery and conservation of global cultural heritage,those traditional manual skills once again go into people's vision.The traditional Xuan paper manufacturing skills from Anhui Jingxian County was listed as one of the national non-material cultural heritage in2006.For thousands of years,the Xuan paper has been considered as the best cultural carrier of Chinese painting and calligraphy art.As one of the representative of Chinese traditional handicraft,the ancient Xuan paper manufacturing skill completely demonstrated the diligence and intelligence of the working people in ancient China,and it also well preserved great achievements of Chinese civilization development for thousands of years.From the perspective of protection of non-material cultural heritage,our nation's conservation and development of traditional handicraft technique can play an important part in promoting Chinese traditional culture,enhancing national self-confidence and safeguarding national cultural sovereignty.According to the analysis of the present status of traditional handicraft techniques which are conserved as the non-material cultural heritage,the author will summarize the characteristics of Xuan paper manual craft and analyze the reasons that block the development and inheritance of Xuan paper skills.Meanwhile,this essay aims to figure out a package design of Xuan paper in combination with anti-counterfeiting function and cultural transmission and also provides the theoretical basis and practical reference for the conservation of other precious traditional crafts and products. |
