In this paper,the flow of 1060 aluminum friction stir welding of plastic metal is studied.First,the 1060 Al friction stir welding experiment with different parameters is carried out by orthogonal test.The experimental results are analyzed and the optimal values of the experimental parameters are obtained.Secondly,the three-dimensional steady-state flow field model is established,and the flow field of friction stir welding is obtained.The plastic flow of the flow field in each section is analyzed,and the results are verified by welding test results.The flow field can not be separated from the temperature generated by the friction of the stirrer,so the temperature field model is established and the friction stir welding temperature field is analyzed.The influence of different parameters on the welding results is limited by the cost and experiment conditions.At last,the results of different flow field are obtained by changing the parameters and the shape of the stirring head.The main contents are as follows:Three sets of different welding speeds and rotational speeds were used to conduct the welding test.The surface forming was observed and the optimum welding parameters were obtained.The influence of different parameters on surface forming was analyzed.Analysis of Defects in Friction Stir Welding.The optimum values of welding results were observed by metallography and mechanical properties.The finite element model of 1060 aluminum friction stir welding flow field was established by FLUENT,and the three-dimensional flow field of plastic metal was studied by numerical simulation.The results show that with the increase of the distance from the shoulder in the thickness direction,the flow velocity of the plastic metal is weakened and the flow is not sufficient.The longitudinal velocity field of the flow field changes in many directions.The cross-section velocity field is not symmetrical,and the velocity of the advancing side is greater than the velocity of the returning side.Through the Coulomb frictional heat production mechanism,the formula of heat production in the tool is deduced.Fluent was used to study the steady-state temperature field of welding.The results show that the friction between the shoulder and the workpiece is the main way of heat production,the temperature distribution is not symmetrical about the weld.It is significant to study the influence of welding parameters and the shape of the stirrer on the flow field of aluminum alloy by studying the plastic flow of Friction Stir Welding.It is of great significance to reduce the welding parameters and get the comprehensive performance of the welded joint.The influence of parameters on the flow of plastic metal near the tool is analyzed by simulation results.The results show that the effect of welding speed on plastic metal flow is not significant,and the change of rotational speed can greatly affect the flow of plastic metal.The change of the tool parameters was mainly due to the change of the shape of the shoulder and the shape of the stirring pin.The results showed that the concentric shoulder and the screw can improve the flow of the plastic metal.
