Composite type boring and milling machining center is a complete function of the NC machine.The processing efficiency is 5 to 10 times compared with the ordinary machine tool.Now it has been widely used in the machining industry.But the traditional CNC machining center only has one Knife Bank and Changing knife needs a long time.The composite type boring and milling machining center is double knife automatic tool changing design idea,namely fixed for knife library and random changing knife library.It is mainly convenient for boring and milling machine in the process of machine tool changing efficiency so as to improve the machining accuracy of machine tool and improve the processing efficiency of the machine to improve the efficiency of the machining center.General machining center Knife Bank is closed.Especially,random changing knife bank can not see machine tool spindle and the tool library every knife seat concrete which tools is stored in the process of extra processing.Using VB6.0programming language designs the composite boring and milling machining center double knife library visual man-machine interface to solve this problem.Visual control of random change was realized in the machine's knife library.Running state of random change in real time was monitored.Experiments show that the operating system was stable,accurate and real-time.In this paper,“the research and development of precision boring and milling machine center of national project” was studied.Through the analysis and research on the NC machine tool,including the selection of CNC system,the control principle of multi-axis group,the whole electrical principle control of machine tool,the programming of PLC,the movement process of each spindle of machine tool and NUM built-in PLC programming.And then prepared the machine tool boring and milling head of the electrical schematic diagram,tool changer near the tool change flow chart,the nearest election knife program,cutter motor forward and reverse ladder,tool changer Robotic tool change PLC ladder diagram and tool change program.And then on the random tool change the electrical master,Electrical auxiliary control for specific design.Finally,the second development of the magazine management,the tool magazine information of the tool changer can be grasped accurately through the interface,The motor temperature of the magazine is also checked.Through the vibration of the robot todetect the robot knife and the knife with the knife out of the completion of the situation,so as to determine whether the next tool change action is executed.
