The rapid development and application of high-speed parts has promoted the development of high-speed machining center, which advanced ATC technology reduces the non-cutting time, and improve production and processing efficiency. The time of the tool change process, the accuracy of the tool change process, reliability, stability has become an important indicator of the high-speed machining centers. The main research work are as follows:1. In the full research and development trend of domestic and foreign ATC technology, based on all kinds of magazine and automatic tool change analyzes and research, propose dual cam linkage automatic tool changing technology, Analyzes the characteristics of dual-cam linkage automatic tool changing technology, then design the dual-cam linkage automatic tool changer.2. Analyzes various sports law curves, combined with the actual movement of the cam mechanism, the follower select sine law of motion correction and correction constant, and complete the matching design of movement cycle diagram.3. Based on the principle of reverse thinking, apply space conjugate surface theory, differential geometry and coordinate transformation principles etc to deduce contour surface equation of Globoidal Cam. With the help of MATLAB gets the coordinates of the point cloud surface contour, then apply UG/NX three-dimensional modeling software to get ATC device modeling of Globoidal cam.4. Creates virtual prototype of dual-cam linkage automatic tool changer, then uses UG/motion make motion simulation analysis of dual cam linkage automatic tool changer, get displacement, velocity and acceleration graphs of spindle arbor, gripper rods linear motion or rotary motion.
