In this paper,a new type of solid filtrate reducer GWF-01 S was synthesized which raw materials are PVA-1788 and borax.In the process of synthesis,the theory of close packing,particle grading,chemical cross-linking technology,chemical reaction thermodynamics and chemical reaction kinetics were used.Firstly,the main polymer PVA-1788 was developed: the water loss variation was analyzed under the changing conditions of monomer concentration,initiator concentration,PH value of reaction system,temperature,the different kinds of cross-linking agents and other factors.The optimum conditions for the synthesis of polymer were determined after the experiment.Then,the water resistance,temperature resistance,salt resistance,compatibility with other additives,stability and channeling prevention were analyzed for the synthesis of solid filtrate reducer GWF-01 S.When the dosage of GWF-01 S is 1.2%,the effect of controlling cement slurry is better.GWF-01 S had achieved good results in the actual cementing operation.The solid filtrate reducer GWF-01 S soluble in water,at the same time,because of the stability and alkali resistance of the polymer,it can effectively control water loss in the solution containing electrolyte.But it has no significant effect on convection.In the actual construction,the polymer can't be degraded by chemical ways or physical ways.It is easy to save and easy to manage.The solid filtrate reducer GWF-01 S has the characteristics of low price,stable comprehensive property,convenient production and field application.
