Camel Milk Hypoglycemic Activity Research

Mongolian people have long been drinking camel milk,and began to use to treat some diseases.Recently,with the increaseing in people's concernning and researching on camel milk,it was reported that camel milk with hypoglycemic,hypolipidemic,lowering blood pressure and anti-allergic activity.In this paper,through the comparative study of camel milk and milk,better reveal the physical and chemical properties of camel milk in vivo hypoglycemic biological activity.First,we measured camel milk and milk's the pH,viscosity,titration acidity,dry matter,fat,protein,lactose,ash according to the national standard and literature method.We found that the protein content of camel milk(14.11 mg/mL)was significantly higher than that of milk(10.28 mg/mL);camel milk had a lower fat content(1.19%)than milk(2.77%);The dry matter content of camel milk(12.94%)was higher than that of milk(11.95%).The insulin content(6.23 ?IU/mL)of camel milk was significantly higher than that of milk(3.13 ?IU/mL),and the insulin growth factor of camel milk(27.64 ?g/L)was also higher than that of milk(21.67 ?g/L).Indicating that camel milk hypoglycemic active substance content was significantly greater than milk.Animal experiments found that for mouse camel milk at 15 min,30 min,60 min time(maximum dose)significantly reduced the blood glucose concentration.For rats,camel milk at 30 min,60 min significantly reduced blood glucose levels.While milk has no significant effect under the same conditions.The camel milk was further divided into three main components:camel milk fat,camel milk whey and camel milk protein,respectively,and the effects on blood glucose concentration were compared.Camel milk whey significantly reduced blood glucose levels at 60 min and 90 min.Camel milk protein significantly reduced blood glucose at 90 min.Camel milk whey and protein hypoglycemic effect to be significantly better than camel milk fat.And then made STZ-induced type 2 diabetes animal experiments.Animals were randomly divided into blank group,model group,positive control group,camel milk group,camel milk whey group and camel milk protein group.Through more than 50 days of long-term experiments,collecting the blood of the femoral artery,the determination of indicators,found that camel milk can be a good way to lower blood s?gar(GLU),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),triglyceride Low density lipoprotein(LDL)and alanine aminotransferase(ALT).Camel milk can prevent the phenomenon of animal hepatocellular enlargement.Camel milk has a protective effect on liver and pancreas.Camel milk has no significant effect on normal blood cells.
