The flash butt welding of pipeline is an advanced welding method.It is easy to control and adjust the welding parameters.Depending on the Characteristic of without wire filling,with a high degree of automation,the welding process is stable and good quality,so it is applied widely in foreign countries especially in Ukraine and Russia,it's also have a broad application prospects in rail construction,oil and gas,petrochemical,aerospace,energy,electric power,shipbuilding and marine engineering and other fields.Although the technology has many advantages,however,how to remove the burr around the joint of pipeline after flash butt welding still restricts the popularization and application of the technology.In order to solve the problem,a kind of plasma gouging system was designed to remove the outer burr of pipeline.It's used to match with the flash welding equipment K584Ch,it can effectively eliminate the external burr of the pipeline after flash welding.Therefore,it is necessary to understand the influence of plasma technology on the microstructure and mechanical properties of welded joints.Firstly,the plasma gouging system was designed to remove the outer burr of pipeline which used match with the K584Ch pipeline.According to the functional requirements,the corresponding structure is designed and the 3D part is modeled and assembled in the UG software.After the assembly,it is imported into the ADAMS software for kinematics analysis and simulation.It is further verified that the mechanical structure of the equipment is reasonable and there is no mechanism Interference phenomenon.And then processed into a solid model,through the commissioning of the device can be achieved in the flash after the welding of the external weld glitches to clean up.Then,the single-factor test of X65 pipeline steel welded joint is carried out to explore the optimal plasma burr removal process parameters in this paper.A total of three sets of tests were set up.The X65 pipeline steel used in each group was burred with 50 A,60 A,70 A plasma supply current I with the same welding parameters after welding on a pipe flash welder.Other plasma removal Glitch of the process parameters remain consistent.Finally,the optimal plasma burr removal current is obtained by the detection and analysis of the structure and mechanical properties.Finally,this paper research on the influence of plasma burr removal on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the joint based on the optimal parameters of plasma burr removal.At first,the X65 pipeline steel welded joints were treated with plasma slag and machined slag,then through study of room temperature mechanical properties mainly includes tensile and bending tests obtain the mechanical properties of plasma slag and machined slag of the welding joints,also analyzed the microstructure morphology of plasma slag and machined slag joint,finally draws the corresponding conclusion.
