As the biggest structure,the stability of tailings dam is closely related to mining safety.It has been one of the hot and difficult points in engineering research.Under the action of earthquake,it is more difficult to analyze the dynamic stability of tailings dam due to the complexity of the dam material.It is a very necessary work to select the reasonable analysis method and determine the stability of tailings dam stability safety factor.And it is a work that must be paid enough attention in the engineering safety standard management system.At home and abroad,the research of tailings dam starts late,the research theory and technology is not mature.Generally,as a special kind of slope,its stability under earthquake is analyzed by using the method of dynamic stability analysis of slope.In this paper,Hei tie jiao tailings dam in Shexian County,Hebei Province as the research object,is combined with the actual situation of the project.According to the requirements of stability analysis mentioned in the "code for seismic design of special structures "(GB50591-2012),the stability of tailings dam is analyzed.In this paper based on one-dimensional wave theory,the tailings dam monitoring hole at the center of the soil column,using a one-dimensional dynamic frequency domain analysis of Edushake software,on the basis of the liquefaction stress ratio method is adopted to Hei tie jiao tailings dam has carried on the preliminary evaluation of liquefaction.Among the two-dimensional stability analysis methods of slope,the most commonly used methods are the pseudo static method based on the limit equilibrium theory and the finite element numerical analysis method based on the strength reduction theory.By using quasi static method and strength reduction method respectively to the static or dynamic stability of the tailings dam were analyzed.Through the one dimensional and two dimensional stability analysis of Hei tie jiao tailings dam,the safety of tailings dam is determined.It is concluded that the tailings dam in magnitude 7 earthquake,the minimum safety factor to meet the requirements of the current national standard.Tailings in may occur when the earthquake liquefaction,this kind of condition,the tailings will there is a certain risk.And by using the pseudo-static method and strength subtraction analysis on the stability of tailings dam,it found that the strength subtraction to obtain the safety factor of analogy method of static safety coefficient is low.At the same time,it is found that the maximum acceleration peak value will be occurred at the top in the downstream slope of the tailings dam.These analysis and results provide necessary theoretical basis for the follow-up of the tailings dam safety appraisal.
