In recent years,polypyrrole has attracted extensive attention due to its wide applications in the fields of sensors,electrolyte materials,catalyst,drug delivery and corrosion protection.According to the achievements made by international experts,the micro-morphology of conductive polymers which depends largely on the preparation methods could directly affect its specific capacitance,conductivity and mechanical properties.Therefore,it is one of the keys and focuses of current researches to develop optimal preparation methods which could obtain specific morphology for elegant properties.In the first part of this paper,double temlates method is introduced to synthesize the polypyrrole nanomaterials including nanoparticles and nanofibers.SDBS and SDS have been used as double templates to synthesize po lypyrrole nanoparticles which are larger in size and uneasier to agglomerate than those fabricated by single template method.CTAB and SDBS are utilized to prepare the PPy nanofibers.The concentration of doping acid(HCl)had a great influence on the length of PPy nanofibers.A novel strategy for the one-pot fabrication of free-standing ultra-thin polypyrrole films is presented in this work.The films are spontaneously formed at an air/ liquid interface through interfacial polymerization.The thicknesses of the films are finely controlled from tens to hundreds of nanometers,and the films are uniform and compact.Asymmetrical films with different smoothness on the two sides of the film are also obtained and exhibit different water wettability.The PPy films doped with HCl or synthesized in lower temperature own thinner thickness and better conductivity.In this part,porous polypyrrole(PPy)film is synthesized by facile air/liquid interfacial polymerization using ionic liquid as oxidant.The morphology of PPy films changes from nanofibers to geometric porous structure with the increasing concentration of the pyrrole.The numbers and sizes of the micropores on the surface of the PPy films are significantly decreased as the surfactant SDBS is added.
