Dressing is the most important link in the production process of mineral products,centrifugal concentrator is an enhanced centrifugal gravity separation equipment based on the principle,because it is environmentally friendly,energy saving and environmental protection,high efficiency processing etc.,in recent years has been widely used in all kinds of domestic and foreign large mines.To improve the separation effect and efficiency of mineral processing equipment has been the focus of concern,so the research on the influence of ore dressing operation parameters of centrifugal separator in the sorting process,can not only bring huge economic value,also has important significance for promoting the development of domestic centrifugal separation technology.The STLB20 centrifugal dressing experiment machine as the research object,theoretical analysis was carried out by numerical simulation and experimental study of centrifugal separator separation process as the basis,based on the analysis of mineral particles in the process of centrifugal separation,the establishment of mineral particles in the sorting process in dynamic equations in different directions by using simulation software Fluent,carry out;numerical simulation of centrifugal separation process of mineral particles under different operating parameters;through the experiment to study the effects of law on the separation effect of operating parameters interaction.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Based on the analysis of centrifugal separator separation principle,the movement form by the Reynolds number is calculated in the process of slurry centrifugal separation for turbulent flow;kinetic equations of mineral particles in the process of sorting,from the theoretical analysis of the separation cone speed,anti flushing flow,feed flow,feed concentration as the main influencing factors mineral particle sedimentation,which lays the theoretical foundation for the numerical simulation and experimental analysis of the.(2)The establishment of finite element model of STLB20 cone centrifugal separation experiment machine sorting,using computational fluid dynamics software Fluent on different sorting speed,cone backwash water flow,feed flow,centrifugal separation process for ore concentration was simulated according to the simulation results obtained operating parameters effect on the quality of concentrate deposition rate;at the same time get the best operating parameters for the simulation analysis under the separation cone speed 710r/min,backwashwater flow 70L/min,feed flow rate 0.66m3/h,the feed concentration of 20%.(3)STLB20 centrifugal concentrator as the research object,the design of four factors and five levels of iron ore separation experiments,to concentrate the enrichment ratio and recovery rate as the evaluation index,the experimental data were analyzed with variance,operating parameters on the enrichment ratio and recovery rate of interaction;optimization analysis to get the best range of each operation the parameters,compared with the simulation results,verify the reliability of numerical simulation.Through this study,can provide useful guidance for the further research of centrifugal separator,provide effective way of sorting the theory and application of centrifugal concentrator,has good practical significance and practical value.
