The research topic of this paper comes from the Hunan provincial philosophy and Social Science Fund Project "the inheritance and innovation development of the arts and crafts ceramics in our province under the cultural and creative industries"(item number:16YBA386).Hunan culture is a regional characteristic,in recent years,that people pay more attention to the Hunan culture makes the Changsha kiln ceramic with Hunan characteristics be in the initial state in the product marketing of cultural tourism,which is greatly potential.According to market survey,the writer finds that Changsha kiln tea set is very scarce in the aspect of tourism products design and cultural characteristics.In the current tourism market,there is a problem that the Changsha kiln tea set in similar patterns and single color can not show the characteristics of Hunan culture.To address this issue,we need to start from the design with grasping the essence of the Huxiang culture and discovering the uniqueness of ceramic utensil from Changsha kiln.In addition,we should increase the variety of the tourism products and produce more ceramic utensil of Changsha kiln with pronounced local culture to attract the consumers and reflect the dual value of regional culture and regional resources.With the basement of tourism products,this paper researches on the concept,composition and characteristics of tourism products and the Changsha kiln tea set,summarizing features of it to interpret its styles,decorations of colors and patterns through the method of literature review,which begins with the design of the Changsha kiln tea set.On the investigation of current situation of the Changsha kiln tea set in the market of tourism products,the paper points out the functions,target customers,products’ quality and the appropriate areas of the research content,indicating that the design of the Changsha kiln tea set as tourism products should be based on the function,aesthetics,economy and humanities four elements.According to these evidence and analysis,we can make some improvements on the innovative design and study to address the problem of homogenization and simplification of tourism products.In summary,the contributions of the thesis are as the following.Firstly,I analyzed the tea set of the Changsha kiln from the perspective of design science and extracted the design elements representing the local characteristics.Secondly,I interpreted the various combination of the design elements and applied the method to product design.Finally,I designed a tea set product reflecting the culture and characteristics of the Changsha kiln,which proposed a new idea of tourism product design.
