Cutting logging technology is an important method to identify the lithology and to find the oil and gas.In practical production,the cutting logging technology data is an important basis of the oil and gas shows,core orientation,well location design,so cutting logging technology research has a important significance for modern oil and gas exploration and development.At present,the artificial observation and analysis is the main method to determine the lithology and oil information,the operation is complicated,which needs high requirements for field operation personnel,and has many influence factors,so the interpretation of the results are easily to error.When the cuttings were placed in a long time,the information of oil and gas is easy to be lost,so it cannot be realized,it greatly restricted the development of the cutting logging technology.According to the present situation of cutting logging technology,the cutting image acquisition and analysis system is designed.This system uses computer to collect cuttings.The software can analyze the lithology and oil information.And it can reduce the working intensity of workers and the demand of the operating level.And it improves the accuracy of analysis.The white light and fluorescence images can be saved,and it can be used to improve the cutting logging technology..This system uses a dual camera,dual light source.The large field of view collects the macro and oil information,high magnification of view gets the mineral,structure and other details of cuttings;white light image used for the analysis of cuttings lithology,fluorescence images used for the analysis of cuttings oil.In the system design,this paper use the multi focal images fusion algorithm,effectively solve the problem of high amplification in small depth of field,so it can obtain the overall clarity of image.Using the method of similarity analysis,the problem of oil pollution of drilling fluid can be effectively solved.For contained fake rock,system creative proposed approach recognition method,to improve the accuracy of the analysis.At the same time,to improve the accuracy of logging interpretation and evaluation of the coincidence rate,the design of the cuttings image transmission and browsing subsystem,so that the experts can easily browse the cuttings images,supervision and guide the work of the logging.At present,the design of the intelligent cutting logging analysis system has been applied in the exploration field in Daqing,Liaohe,Shengli and other oil fields.It can effectively solve the problems existing in the traditional cuttings logging technology,and improve the overall technical level of cuttings logging.
