Diaryl sulfides are widely found in the active compounds of materials science and drugs,and many of the core structures of drugs capable of treating Alzheimer,Parkinson,cancer,malaria,inflammation and HIV have aryl sulfide units.For example,a thioether,The 2-arylsulfanylphenol compound has a pharmacological activity which can synthesize 4-hydroxy-3-(arylthio)-2H-chromen-2-one,which exhibits antibacterial and analgesic activity.In view of the important utility of functionalized aryl sulfides,a number of catalytic reactions have improved the formation of C-S bonds.The general synthesis method:Making C-H bond activationthrough the catalys,,the occurrence of oxidative coupling reaction,then the formation of C-S bond,which is a common and effective synthesis pathway.In this paper,water was used as the solvent in the experiment,and the target product could be obtained efficiently under heterogeneous conditions.Through screening and optimization of the ratio of the amount of the substrate,the amount of catalyst,oxygen,temperature and alkali conditions,We arrive at one of the most conditional:0.5 mmol ?-naphthol 1a and 1.5 mmol p-toluene thiophenol 2a as reaction substrate,5 mmol(0.05 mmol)Co(phcy)(SO3Na)4 as catalyst,2 mL water as solvent,0.1 Mpa oxygen pressure,The reaction was carried out in a 25 mL Schlenk tube for 15 h at 120 oC.The target product having an isolated yield of 80% or more can be obtained.A total of 21 diarylsulfides were synthesized,of which 9 were new materials,and were detected and characterized by 1HNMR,GC,melting point and high resolution mass spectrometry,gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The mechanism of the formation of C-S bonds in the oxidative coupling reaction has also been explored and speculated.The oxidative coupling reaction is carried out under the condition that water is used as a solvent,green and the separation product of the target product is high.This method in the organic synthesis has a certain significance.
