The environmental pollution problem is increasingly serious, there is high toxicity of sulfide widely found in industrial waste water, The chelated iron desulfurization technology with high efficiency,pollution-free,recyclable and other advantages is the focus of the current study. Due to the rapid oxidation rate of sulfide,the cycle rate of the whole process of chelated iron desulfurization depends on the electrochemical oxidation process of Fe (?) in air cathode fuel cell. The anode materials are the key factors that affect the oxidation of Fe (?) in air cathode fuel cells. Different anode material will be different degree of speed up the air cathode fuel cell oxidation rate of complexing iron. Widely used traditional anode material is graphite felt material, this experiment adopts two kinds of graphite felt and nickel foam substrate to explore the anode materials for fuel cells of different Fe (?) the influence of catalytic performance.In this study, graphite carbon felt and nickel foam ware used as substrate, nickel chloride, ferric chloride as raw materials. Nickel-iron hydrotalcite/graphite felt and nickel-iron hydrotalcite/foam nickel composites ware synthesis by high temperature hydrothermal reaction. The composition, structure and electrochemical properties of the composites were characterized by XRD, XPS, FTIR, SEM and electrochemical analysis. and the synthesis conditions were optimized. The composite composites were used as anodes in the air cathode fuel cell to investigate the electrocatalytic oxidation of Fe (?). We found that when the initial charge of hydrothermal reaction was higher than that of nickel / iron = 2: 1, the total metal ion concentration of nickel iron in hydrotalcite was 0.2M, the hydrothermal reaction temperature was 140 ?,and the hydrothermal reaction time was 12h, the hydrotalcite composite electrode reflect optimum properties . The oxidation rate of Fe (?) at the anode of the air cathode fuel cell is better than that of the blank graphite felt by about 44.4% when the hydrotalcite felts composite electrode is synthesized under the optimum process conditions, thecoulomb efficiency of 53% compared to blank graphite felt 37%increased by about 16%.When the anode metials ware maded by the hydrotalcite composite nickel foam, the coulomb efficiency of fuel cell for 45% to 39%, compared with blank foam nickel electrode increased by about 6%. The oxidation rate of Fe (?)in the battery is about 40%.
