Surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)is a brilliant analytical tool for ultrasensitive response of molecules diluted to single molecule level.It has attracted much attention of many researchers since the discovery of it in 1974.Because of the capability of finger print identification of molecules,SERS has been widely used in chemical analysis,environment monitoring and biological sensing.SERS substrate,build up by noble metal nanostructures,can provide conspicuous strong local electromagnetic field(hot spot)which tremendously enhanced the Raman scattering of molecules who have absorbed on it.Beneficial from the development of nano-fabrication technique,complex metal nano-structures have been designed to contribute the enhancement factor(EF).Although the substrate proved large EFs,it is still difficult to achieve single molecule detection?Meanwhile,the manufacture of nanostructures still cannot avoid the high energy consumption,which limits the applications of Raman in real life.Herein a simple processing method for preparing Raman substrate of higher detection sensitivity is presented,which can reduce detecting the cost SERS measurements and enhance the detecting sensitivity.This paper is focused on how to prepare Raman substrate with higher detection sensitivity utilizing simple processing means,and how to enhance the detecting sensitivity,mainly includes the following two parts:1.Utilizing paper as substrate which is super-hydrophobic by dope spray technique to realize low cost and high yield.At the same time,silver nano particles sand determinate of molecule are concentration aggregate at super-hydrophobic and the determinate of molecule are distributed between silver nano particles.Resonance coupling effect of silver nano particles can be used to Raman detecting.2.Utilizing the super-hydrophobicity of SERS substrate,drop one droplet of water on the substrate,collecting the light of Raman scattering use the refraction of light in water,to improve the sensitivity of SERS detection.
