Phthalates(PAEs)are the environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals, which can cause harm to the endocrine system, respiratory system and reproductive system of the human body. Therefore, the study on the phthalate exposure has a wide attention.Phthalates are widely present in the environment of settled dust, air and so on,which can enter the human body through oral, dermal contact and inhalation, which are harmful to human health.Dormitory is one of main activity places of college students, indoor air quality is directly related to the health of college students. This study was based on the college dormitories, analyzed the pollution characteristics and exposure to PAEs in the settled dust, which can provide scientific basis for the protection of college students' health. In this study,we researched the prevalence of allergic diseases among members of the dormitory, excluded parental genetic factors such as food allergies, genetic factors, screened out 146 dormitories. In Daxing campus we collected 84 dust samples,in Xicheng Campus collected 62 dust samples. The pretreatment process of settled dust:Ultrasonic extraction with 10 mL dichloromethane(chromatogram grade)for 40 minutes, repeated three times, merged the supernatant of three ultrasonic samples;after rotary evaporation nitrogen-blow concentrated to 1.0mL;finally,GC-MS was used to analyze 14 kinds of PAEs that DMP,DEP,DIBP,DBP,DMEP,DEEP,DPP,DNHP,BBP,DBEP,DCHP,DEHP,DNOP and DNP.The detection rate of PAEs in 146 samples was 100%,and the concentration range of ?PAEs was 4.78-4066.82?g/g.The detected 4 kinds of PAEs were DIBP,DBP,DCHP and DEHP,and the detection rates were 5.48%,80.14%,100%,and 100%,respectively.DCHP and DEHP were the most predominant pollutants, and the highest concentration was 1270.53?g/g and 1615.65?g/g.The concentration of PAEs in the settled dust of dormitory was DIBP < DBP < DCHP < DEHP.The pollutiont strength of PAEs in the settled dust of dormitory:quail-roost>men's dormitory, shaded dormitory>adret dormitory, eczema dormitory > allergic rhinitis dormitory > no allergic diseases dormitory > allergic rhinitis and eczema dormitory.Correlation analysis of PAEs in indoor dust by SPSS19.0showed that significant correlations were found among DBP,DCHP and DEHP(P <0.05);DBP,DCHP and DEHP were significantly correlated with gender(P < 0.05);DIBP,DBP,DCHP,DEHP and sampling campus has a significant correlation(P<0.01).Nonparametric test was used to analyze the difference of PAEs concentration between allergic and non allergic diseases, and the results showed that there was no significant difference between allergic diseases and non allergic diseases(P > 0.05).The concentration of PAEs in gas phase and particle phase was calculated by OracleCrystal Ball 8.5 simulation, and then calculate the total exposure to PAEs.Exposure routes of PAEs in the dormitory were oral and inhalation. The exposure of allergic disease dormitory to PAEs was 169.32-232.74ng/(kg·day),and the exposure level was eczema dormitory>allergic rhinitis dormitory>no allergic diseases dormitory>allergic rhinitis and eczema dormitory.Maximum exposure of the shaded quail-roost was 225.49ng/(kg·day),and the exposure of the men's dormitory and adret quail-roost was 107.57-223.10ng/(kg·day).Xicheng campus exposure was 175.97ng/(kg·day),and 1.58 times bigger than the Daxing campus. The main exposure way to PAEs in indoor dust was oral, accounting for 95%,and the mean value was132.46ng/(kg·day).
