The mixed transportation technology of oil and gas is becoming more and more important in the petroleum industry.It has been paid more and more attention by the petroleum workers all over the world because of its high efficiency,low cost and high environmental adaptability.In order to ensure the optimal design and safe operation of pipeline and downstream oil and gas treatment equipment,the research and analysis of slug flow is very important.Through investigation and study of the domestic and foreign literature,the research object of slug flow is mostly horizontal pipeline,and lack of research on the inclined pipe,but the actual transportation because of terrain,most are inclined pipeline,so it has important practical significance to the study of slug flow in inclined tube.The experiment on the Xi'an Petroleum University Laboratory of multiphase flow,through the use of air compressor and multistage centrifugal pumps and other equipment to build the experimental pipeline,using water and air as the medium in the pipe diameter is25 mm,the tilt angle respectively.Experimental study on the characteristics of gas water two phase slug flow of the inclined pipe is 2.5 degrees,5 degrees and 7.5 degrees.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)with the increase of mixing velocity,the average velocity of slug flow will increase with the increase of the upper dip.(2)the upper angle increases,and the slug length increases with the same condition.(3)when the apparent liquid velocity in the pipeline is constant,the liquid slug frequency in the horizontal tube is larger than that of the inclined tube.When the superficial gas velocity is constant,the liquid slug frequency of the horizontal tube is smaller than that of the inclined tube when the superficial liquid velocity is lower.(4)the formation of slug flow is not only related to superficial gas velocity and superficial liquid velocity,but also to the inclination angle of pipeline.
