The Research On The Coordinated Development Of The Western Ecological Environment And Economic Growth

Along with the accelerating process of our country's industrialization,agricultural modernization and the development of the western region in China,resource consumption is high,the ecological environment is damaged and the ecological environment quality declines continuously.The spillover effects of ecological environment not only bring to the western region's development obstacle,but also affect the rest of the country's ecological environment,economy and social sustainable development process.So it's of great significance to research the relationship between the ecological environment and economic growth in west at this stage.Based on the theories of the ecological environment and economic growth,we selected 23 indicators about the system of economy and the ecological environment in the western region in China.Using entropy method and the coupling coordination degree model,we made the empirical analysis about the western region's economic growth and the ecological environment coordinated development situation from 2006 to 2015.As well as,we used grey correlation analysis method to analyze the mutual influence among components.According to the empirical results,we put forward some corresponding recommendations.We mainly analyzed and researched from the following several aspects:First,we analyzed the concept and theories of the ecological environment and economic growth to lay the theoretical foundation.We cleared the concept of the ecological environment,economic growth and economic development.Then we analyzed the sustainable development theory,ecological economics theory,green development theory and the theory of coordination development,and revealed the theoretical significance and practical significance.Second,based on the developing situation of the western ecological environment and economic growth,called "the three major contradictions".Combined with the actual situation of the western region,we chose 23 indicators of ecological system and economic system to build the corresponding index system.Then we introduced the coupling coordination degree of quantitative research model and its hierarchy standard.Third,based on the coupling model,the coupling coordination degree model and econometric model,we carried on the empirical analysis on the western region and compared the dynamic changes of the western region.Then we established fitting equation of the ecological system and economic system,examined the coordinated development tendency index,and forecasted the coordinated development degree in the future.At the same time,by using Mapgis software,we intuitively showed the coordinated development level between the ecological environment and economic growth in distribution characteristics and spatial differences.Then through the grey correlation analysis,we found the two systems of mutual impact factors and provide referential suggestions for the development of the western region in the future.Fourth,according to the above empirical results,we put forward the coordinated development mechanism and the effective path about the ecological environment and economic growth in the western region.The government can construct the comprehensive decision-making mechanism,improve the ecological compensation mechanism,transform industry operation mechanism and establish environmental protection investment-financing mechanism.Aiming at the lagging problem of the present ecological environment development in Western China,the government should be badly in need of implementing ecological transformation of industrial structure,building green technology supporting system,strengthening the awareness of energy conservation and emissions reduction,and optimizing the environment of financial fiscal policy to promote the development of the ecological environment and economic growth in Western China.All in all,we built the evaluation mechanism of the ecological environment and economic growth and evaluated temporal sequence in the western region.It is concluded the mutual influence of the ecological environment and economic development factors.At last,we provided some constructive suggestions for sustainable development strategy in the western region.
