Study On Synthesis,characterization,luminescence And Magnetic Properties Of Complexes Constructed By A Novel Salen-like Ligand

There are N,O atoms which belong to soft and hard base according to hard and soft acid base theory in Salen-like ligands,the former is inclined to coordinate with transition metal,while the latter tend to coordinate with rare earth ions,all these can be used to construct 3d-4f complexes with excellent luminescent and magnetic properties,The study on the fluorescent and magnetic properties of these compounds is of great significance to the design,synthesis and application of novel luminescent materials and molecular based magnetic materialsThis thesis is divided into four parts:1 In this paper,the research progress of metal complexes of Salen-like ligands in recent years is reviewed2 A new Salen-like salicylamide ligand has been designed and synthesis by Amide groups into the basis of Salen ligand,then we synthesized 6 novel 3d-4f metal complexes[M₂Ln₂L₂?NO₃?₄]?M=Cu,Ni;Ln=Gd,Tb,Dy?which were characterized by elemental analysis,infrared spectrum and X-ray single crystal diffraction.In addition,magneticproperties were also studied.3.We synthesized a series of complexes[Zn₆Ln₃L₆?NO₃?₄?OH?₃]·?NO₃?₃?Ln=Pr?Nd?Eu?Gd?Tb?Yb?by stepwise synthesis method,and complexes were characterized byelemental analysis,IR spectra,UV spectra,fluorescence spectra and single crystal X-ray diffraction.Through this study of the fluorescence properties of complexes,we found the addition of OAc^-in the Zn-Ln complex could lead to losses of rare earth metals.4.Results and Prospects:In this paper,a new type of Salen-like ligand and its complexes were synthesized.Study on structure and properties shows that the M₂Ln₂ complexes arecyclic tetranuclear heterometallic clusters,the Cu₂Ln₂ complex shows interesting properties of single molecule magnet;and the series of Zn-Ln complexes are nine nuclear cage compounds,we found acetate leads to the loss of lanthanide ion in the study of the fluorescence.Theresearch results of this paper provide abundant experimental data for the research of the 3d-4f complex...
