Cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases to the human body. With the increasing incidence of cancer in recent years, people are no longer unfamiliar with the word "cancer". Its growth rate is relatively high. If not be timely and effectively controlled, it may lead to death. At present, chemotherapy is a common treatment for cancer to kill cancer cells or inhibit the growth of cancer cells by using drugs.Organic phosphorus ligands have played a crucial role in the field of organic syntheses, which have been widely used in the construction of metal organic compounds. The organic phosphine gold?I? complexes have attracted the attention of scientists in the field of anti-tumor. Selenium-containing phosphine compounds also have been proved to have biological activities, like AIDS. Ebselen is related to the occurrence and development of cancer. Because organic phosphine ligands have played an important role in the field of organic syntheses, they have been widely used in the construction of metal organic compounds.Herein, a library of organic phosphine gold?I? complexes 1-19 have been synthesized and applied to the investigation of its biological activities. And a library of organic selenium-containing phosphine compounds 20-42 have been synthesized and applied to the investigation of its biological activities. Details of the work are describled as follows:[1] We designed and synthesized a series of phosphine gold?I? complexes, and sixteen of which are new organic phosphine gold?I? complexes. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and 31P NMR. Phosphine gold?I? complexes 1 and 19 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction.[2] We designed and synthesized a series of selenium-containing phosphine compounds, and eighteen of which are previously unreported compounds. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 31P NMR and HRMS.[3] The above synthetic compounds were used in Hela cells, Methods MTT assay was used to determine the cell proliferation, and the results are satisfactory.
