The oxygen lance is an extremely critical oxygen equipment in steelmaking process.The oxygen lance can spray oxygen into the molten pool so that it will raise the temperature of the bath,decarbonize and remove inclusion.Nozzle is a key part of oxygen lance.How to adjust the nozzle parameters will directly affect the technical index of the oxygen lance.This thesis aimed at the problems in a steel enterprise.There is a long smelting period,a weak oxygen-supplying ability,a large oxygen consumption,a large raw material consumption,a short life of the nozzle and bad dephosphorization in the steelmaking progress.By analyzing of oxygen lance,the unreasonable parameters of the nozzle and a part of the operating parameters of converter is the major cause of these problems.On the research of original nozzle parameters and medium parameters,21000Nm3/h is the best oxygen flow rate by analyzing oxygen blowing time and oxygen consumption of per ton steel smelting and(FeO)and the basicity for 400 furnaces when the oxygen lance parameters is original and optimized.The best flow rate makes oxygen blowing time 100.8s shorter.Oxygen consumption decrease 1.81 m3/t.slag formation time is 1.1 minutes earlier.Slag melting process is good.The end phosphorus control ability is been enhanced.The number of splatter is decreased obviously.The raw material consumption is reduced.The erosion rate of lining is improved greatly.The life of oxygen lance is improved.The economic and technical index is promoted and production cost is reduced and an annual benefit of 5.8027 million.
