PC/ABS alloy is very widely used kind of alloy.Alloy compared with the PC can be significantly improved liquidity,improve the processing performance,make the product to reduce the stress sensitive and can reduce the cost.But the ABS resin as combustible materials,its low limiting oxygen index?18.3%-18.8%?,according to the standard of UL94 belongs to the HB level.PC with a flame retardant,the oxygen index is up to 25%,according to the standard of UL94 belong to the V-2 experiment.So it is necessary to improve the flame retardant alloy.At present,the flame retardant of PC/ABS alloy can be divided into halogen free flame retardant and halogen containing flame retardant.Period,the halogenated flame retardants mainly with brominated flame retardants mainly the in flame retardant process will produce toxic substances,such as polybrominated generation 2 benzene and furan PBDF and polybrominated generation diphenyl and dioxin alkyl?PBDD?.In Europe,due to the dioxin problem make halogenated flame retardant and its flame retardant polymer failed to get the green flag.Therefore,the use of the EU halogenated flame retardant restrictions,to promote the process of non halogenated flame retardant materials.With the increasing awareness of environmental protection,reduce and prevent the destruction of halogenated flame retardants on the environment has become the consensus of the people.This paper studied the different ratio of substrate,compatibilizers and flexibilizers on the properties of PC/ABS alloy,respectively.The mechanical properties,thermal properties,rheological properties,Oxygen Index and Vertical burning tester,thermal stability and others was discussed and studied by electronic universal testing machine,differential scanning calorimetry?DSC?,scanning electron microscope?SEM?,melt flow rate instrument,capillary rheometer,microcomputer control thermal deformation vicat softening machine,plastic indentation hardness tester?The concrete research content is as follows:?1?The different ratio of substrate on the properties of PC/ABS alloy materials was compared studies show that PC/ABS alloy is a partial compatible system?When the ratio of PC/ABS is 70/30,this two components alloy system has the best compatibility,at the same time,at this ratio of the alloy not only has a good processing liquidity,but also can maintaining high rigidity and toughness,and the heat distortion temperature,hardness and other comprehensive performances are better.?2?The compatibilizing effects of three kinds of MBS,ABS-g-MAH and PE-g-MAH were compared to the PC/ABS?70/30?alloy system.The results show that the alloy system has excellent comprehensive echanical properties,processing fluidity,good hardness and high thermal deformation temperature when adding five portions of ABS-g-MAH compatibilizer;The dispersion phase of this system is small and uniformly distributed,the two phases bond tightly and the phases interface is fuzzy under the scanning electron microscope.So we can say that the compatibilizers-ABS-g-MAH has played a good compatibilizers to the PC/ABS?70/30?alloy system.?3?The phosphoric ester flame retardant RXP and polybrominated diphenyl ethane of PC/ABS Blends morphology and flame retardant properties,compared the different flame retardant system of PC/ABS Blends flame retardancy and morphological effects.Results show that when the dosage of the RxP in 14,and reach the requirement of fireproof,and compared to the mechanical properties and traditional flame retardant DBDPE/Sb2O3,did not appear larger drop,then use range,and RxP is conducive to the improvement of machining performance.
