The paper,on the basis of previous studies,has studied the structure of micro-electrolysis apparatus for circulating cooling water,cathode material and descaling process in lab,and then applied it to the circulating cooling water system in the chemical plant,further verified the technical and economic feasibility of micro electrolysis device for circulating cooling water.First of all,the paper has studied the influence of circulating cooling water electrolysis equipment on the descaling effect.The results showthat:the equipment structures have different descaling efficiency.The descaling efficiency from high to low indicate as following:the mesh anode coated with noble metal catalyst layer in the cylinder type micro electrolytic descaling device for circulating cooling water,cylinder type micro electrolytic descaling device for circulating cooling water and the plate type micro electrolytic descaling equipment for circulating cooling water.Secondly,the paper investigated the influence of the descaling effect in the cathode material when the cylinder type micro electrolysis apparatus for circulating cooling water electrolysis with a mesh anode coated the precious metal,and discovered that when carbon steel and stainless steel are used as cathode respectively,and descaling effect is similar after 72 h electrolysis.Besides,the paper also found that the cathode material,either carbon steel or stainless steel,has improved descaling effect and corrosion resistance in electrolysis after soaking with 2-10%nitric acid or sulfuric acid in less than or equal to 60 min.Taking into account the pickling efficiency,the preferred pickling conditions are:the concentration of nitric acid is 10%,and the pickling time is 20min.A study from the descaling process of the micro electrolytic equipment electrolysis the circulating cooling water with the metal anode coated the precious noble metal has found,when the inverted pole removal method is used to remove cathode wall surface fouling in micro electrolysis device of circulating water,the current density should be 30 A·m-2 and descaling time is 5-10min.Finally,when applying the micro electrolysis apparatus of the circulating cooling water in laboratory to the circulating cooling water system in the chemical plant,the concluded show that:when the water circulation is 50m3/h,water flow is 25L·min-1,and the circulating water flow to the micro electrolyticequipment is 0.25-2.5m3·h-1,the circulating cooling water be processed by the electric equipment accords with national using requirements.At the same time,the circulating cooling water equipment works well in electrolysis.The temperature difference of the cooling water from the heat exchanger is increased by 3 and above,the heat exchange efficiency improved,and the energy-saving effect is also remarkable.
