The main research object of this paper is Shandong Hualu Hengsheng Chemical Co.Ltd. to build the first set of 50,000 tons / year ethylene glycol supporting pressure swing adsorption device. The device uses the complete set of 15000N/m3 high pressure swing adsorption process package which is desgined by Sichuan Yalian high-tech limited liability company, is mainly to provide purity of 99.5% or more of hydrogen.For ethylene glycol workshop hydrogenation post and adipic acid workshop ketone post use.This article focuses on the discussion and the solve of the following four issues during the device production process,and the practical effect is good.1. The feed gas entrained methanol exceeded, causing the adsorbent to aggravate the powder. After the improvement, the harm of the virgin gas entrained with methanol is eliminated, the service life of the adsorbent is prolonged, the unit running cycle is improved, and intercepting the powdery adsorbent ,reducing the impact on the acceptance of analytical gas positions.2. The product hydrogen purity is relatively low, while impurities is relatively high , which can not meet the higher demand of the alcohol ketone post of adipic acid workshop. The device extraction rate is relatively low, uneconomical, which is not conducive to energy saving.After the improvement, the product gas hydrogen purity?99.9%, trace CO + CO2?10×10-6, device extraction rate > 85%, which all have been greatly improved;3. 2 # pressure swing adsorption program-controlled after several years of use, due to the adsorption agent powder and mechanical fatigue,the valve began to not able to be open or close, especially when the valve is not able to be closed, the harmful is most seriously. After the improvement, to some extent, eliminating the system hidden dangers which bring by the program-controlled valve failure , make the system can be in a safe state, while ensuring the program-controlled valve failure have not any effection on the process to produce, to win a valuable time for the repair work .4. When the delivery pressure of analytical gas exceeds 0.05 MPa, it will cause safety valve overpressure venting, air emissions which will cause air pollution. The emission gas encountered such as lightning and other weather will occur burning. After the improvment, the gas into the flare system, to avoid pollution of the environment,eliminating the production unstable factors.
