In recent years,the fruit industry has shown a broad market prospect with the chain production,network marketing and mixed development.How to improve fruit competitiveness and enhance the added value of fruit products,will be the focus of the development of fruit industry.As an important way to improve fruit quality,it is very important to improve fruit quality and to increase agricultural modernization.Fruit sorting system to a certain extent,increased the added value of fruit products,improve the profit margins of the fruit industry.For the sorting system,it is very important to run efficiency and accuracy.This paper improved Canny edge detection algorithm by supervised learning of Adaboost algorithm to improve the sorting system's identification of navel orange edge and make it more accurate and more efficient.According to the image features of navel orange,the shape features and transformation characteristics were analyzed and discussed for the fruit image.The analogy analysis the relationship between image features and volume,estimate the volume of the navel orange by formula,and calculated the density of navel orange and other data,provide more standard for sorting.First,this paper describes the research background of the subject and the research results of the fruit sorting system.The basic theory and method of image processing and image recognition are described.Then,the paper briefly introduces the image edge detection algorithm,which improves the anti-noise capability of the proposed algorithm.Through the Adaboost algorithm we improve the edge connection,so that the image connection more in line with people's understanding.The image features are analyzed and selected,and the experimental analysis is carried out.And finish designing a volume model to fit the image of navel orange.Then,this paper designed and built a complete orange sorting system,program the control software,introduce the working process and and make the whole system normal efficiently navel orange.Finally,this paper makes a comprehensive summary of the work,and illustrates the advantages of the sorting system,summarizes the main innovation points and research results,and points out the direction of the system's shortcomings and future expansion.
