With the increasing emphasis on environmental issues,the development of environmentally friendly biodegradable lubricants caused the attention of domestic and foreign scholars.Currently there are three kinds of the accepted biodegradation process,they are hydrolysis of esters,-oxidation of long-chain hydrocarbons and aromatic ring-opening oxidation.,The extracted additives were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometer(GC-MS),Friction and Wear Behavior of Additives on Steel-Aluminum,Steel-Steel and Steel-Copper Friction Joints by High-Speed Reciprocating Friction and Wear Testing Machine,the morphology of the wear surface was observed by Nikon-LV150 N.In order to obtain the lubrication mechanism of the friction surface better,the surface of the wear scar was analyzed by ion mass spectrometry(SIMS).Conclusions were as follows:1)Wheat,maize and sorghum three crop plants leaf surface wax and Pinus koraiensis,Pinus sylvestris,Pinus sylvestris and Picea mongolica leaf surface wax were extracted,and these plants leaf wax as a lubricating oil additives have played a certain role in anti-friction wear.In the friction pair of steel-aluminum,these plant leaf waxes play the best lubricating propertiest,fell to about 50%,The results showed that the two kinds of spruce and wheat leaves surface wax had the best effect on abrition resistance;at the friction pair of steel-steel,there are some differences of the tribological properties between these plants leaf surface-wax,the pine leaf surface-wax has the best properties of antifriction and antiwear;at the friction pair of Steel-copper,the plants leaf sueface-wax play a good role on friction reduction,but have poor abrasion resistance.2)By GC-MS analysis of the pine plants leaf surface-wax,we can know,experimental samples of Pinus sylvestris leaf surface-wax that collect in summer has the complex composition,the mainly content are esters(47%)and alcohol(17%).Other types of samples are collected in autumn,the component of the leaf surface-wax is single,the main ingredients are alcohol(about 50%)and alkanes(about 15%).Use the TOF-SIMS we can observed the concentration of ions from the surface worn,the number of free particle(Al+;Fe+)at the surface reduced thrice,the concentration of long-chain hydrocarbons reduced,Increase the concentration of short-chain hydrocarbons.Combined with GC-MS analysis and the TOF-SIMS analysis of the worn surface,we can know,the lubrication mechanism of tthe plants leaf surface-wax is that the polar substances of the leaf surface wax can reacted with the surfave metal molecules,produce the adsorptionfilm or the reaction film,which played a role in anti-friction and antiwear,however,due to the different concentration of the plants leaf surface-wax,their effect is also somewhat different.3)By ANSYS analysis software to simulate the friction and wear processes,the simulation process includes changes with time of the amount of wear generated,simulation and analysis of the stress and strain of worn surface.Through the formula established model wear volume,finite element analysis results allow us to better understand the wear mechanism of the experiment also has some significance.
