| Lubricating oil plays an important role in the operation of machinery,but the large amount of use of lubricants has caused serious environmental problems.Therefore.research on environmentally friendly lubricants is particularly important.In this paper,four plant leaf surface waxes are used as lubricant additives,synthetic esters are added,and their tribological properties and potential as environmentally friendly additives are explored.Explore the relationship between plant leaf species,wax composition and friction performance,summarize the analysis results,explore general laws,and explain the lubrication mechanism.The tribological properties of plant wax and graphene and montmorillonite as additives were investigated.The stress analysis and thermal analysis were performed on the wear scar surface using ANSYS,and the wear volume was analyzed and predicted.There are the following conclusions:1.Four kinds of plant leaf surface waxes have excellent anti-friction and anti-wear properties as additives.Gold and silver wood leaf surface wax additives have the best anti-friction and anti-wear properties,and have the smallest friction coefficient when the additive concentration is 2%.Compared with synthetic esters,the tribological properties of leaf surface wax additives are slightly improved,and the friction properties are the same as glycerol.2.The anti-friction and anti-wear properties of arboreal leaf surface wax additives are better than those of shrubs and herbs.The content of acids,esters and alcohols in arboreal leaves surface wax components is higher than that of shrubs.It is found that the effects of alcohols and esters on the coefficient of friction in waxy components are much greater than those of acids.According to GC-MS analysis,it is known that the carbon chain length of acids in waxy components is mainly distributed in C10~C20,and the carbon chain length of alcohols and esters is mainly distributed in C20~C40.As the adsorption film becomes longer,the friction coefficient of boundary lubrication decreases with increasing polar molecular chain length.3.The compound of plant leaf surface wax and graphene and montmorillonite as additives can effectively improve the anti-friction and anti-wear properties of synthetic esters.As the test time increases.the repair effect of montmorillonite particles will greatly improve the lubricant Tribological characteristics,the compound additives of gold and silver wood wax and graphene have the best anti-friction and anti-wear effect,and compared with the single wax additive,the compound additive has stronger extreme pressure anti-wear ability.The anti-friction and anti-wear characteristics of other compound groups have also been improved to varying degrees.4.Analysis by GC-MS,TOF-SIMS,and EDS shows that carbon chains of polar functional groups such as acids,esters,and alcohols in the wax component are rubbing In the process,it adsorbs on the metal surface to form a physical adsorption film,and then reacts with the metal to form a chemical reaction film.The compound of graphene and montmorillonite particles in the additive form a smooth self-repairing film on the surface of the wear scar.These lubricant films work synergistically to improve the anti-friction and anti-wear properties of the lubricant.5.Using ANSYS to simulate the friction and wear process,analyze the stress distribution and thermal distribution of the wear surface,and analyze and top the wear volume according to the friction formula.The results show that the experimental curve is very close to the simulated curve and the prediction is more feasible... |
