Metal-Organic Frameworks?MOFs?are also known as supramolecular coordination polymer which is made of metal and organic linkers through coordination.In this paper,five organic ligands based on carbazole-bridged imidazol ligands were synthesized.In addition,the coordination chemistry based on these ligands with transition metal ions was investigated and totally 8 new coordination compounds have been designed and synthesized.They were characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction,IR and TGA.Furthermore,the structure regulation properties and electrochemistry properties of several compounds were investigated.?.Three Cd???coordination polymers based on a bent 2,7-di?1H-imidazol-1-yl?-9-R-carbazole Ligand?R = methyl,ethyl and n-propyl??L1,L2 and L3?,have been prepared and characterized by elemental analysis,IR,PXRD,thermogravimetry and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.Also,structure regulation based on substituent group was investigated.?.Four new Ni???metal-organic frameworks were synthesized through reaction L2,L3,L4 and L5 with Ni?OAc?2·4H2O in solution,respectively.The four compounds are isostructural and have good electrical catalytic properties.The four compounds with GC electrode could form composite electrodes,respectively.Their electrochemistry catalytic properties showed regular change.Compound 4 showed better catalytic properties in neutral buffer and its electrochemistry catalytic properties were investigated under different p H buffer.Moreover,the composite electrodes with compound 4 could proceed in electrochemistry catalysis about 18 h.?.A bent ligand,2,7-di?1H-imidazol-1-yl?-9-ethyl-carbazole?L2?,was synthesized and used to generate a novel co-crystallized hybrid complex?8?with MnII in the presence of terephthalic acid?H2TPA?,namely bis[2,7-di?1H-imidazol-1-yl?-9-ethyl-carbazole-?1N]-tetra?aqua?manganese?II?diterephthalic dihydrate,[Mn(C20H17N5)2?H2O?4]·2?C8H5O4?·2?H2O?.Compound 8 features a mononuclear molecule with one six-coordinated Mn? centre,which is made of two terminal imidazole ligands and four coordinated water molecules.In order to form stable a three-dimensional super molecular architecture,weak interactions are indispensable.Compound 8 was bridged into a three-dimensional super molecular architecture via three kinds of ?-? interactions and seven kinds of hydrogen bonds.Two water molecules in the lattice act as important connection bodies through hydrogen bonds.A thermogravimetric analysis of complex?8?was also carried out.
