With the development of global economic, the demand for petroleumandnaturalgas is increasing by year in the world, and oilandgasresources are consumed, the steps of development for the oil and gas resources in marine are towards deep waters.The development of offshore oil and gas resources have high requirements for subsea production equipment in the field of marine engineering equipment, there is a big gap between inland and foreign countries; especially the research on subsea production equipment and testing technology is relatively backward. Relying on the national major projects corpus "the test and research for the control system of production facilities underwater", the research group make an intensive study of test techniques for subsea control module (SCM) .The testingdevice of SCM is designed and researched emphatically in the paper, which have laid thefoundation for the follow-upstudy on the test of SCM.First, the overall program of test for SCM is confirmed. The principle of SCM is analyzed to provide theoretical support for the whole scheme design of testing device. The overall program of testing device and its function demand were confirmed according to the system frameworkof FAT testing device and test purposeof SCM in foreign. The design for hydraulic test bed and hydraulic power supplyare finished according function requirements of testing device, in the meanwhile, the design requirements for signal simulator and the master station are proposed.Second, the design for signalsimulator and master station are finished. First, according to the designrequirements for signalsimulator,the performance indicators and the hardware system structure of signal simulator are confirmed. The design for control program of principal computerand control interface of slave computerare accomplished based on the hardware features and functional requirements. The performance indicators and the hardware system structure are confirmed based on the implementation scheme and design requirements of master station,and the software design of master station is accomplished based on its hardware features and functional requirements.The paper has a key research on hydrostatic test of SCM. The calculation for important components of control system underwater is to have modeling and simulation analysis on underwater hydraulic control system,and equivalent mathematical model for hydraulic hose is established. The fluid resistance property and compensatory effect of hydraulic hose is analyzed by the mathematical model of fuel tank inlet hose and fuel return hose; then the simulation model is established in the environment of AMESim. Simulation analysis are made on the open and shut characteristic of damper actuator, characteristic of nozzle stepping actuators, and pressurized features of hydraulic test bed. Hydraulic test standard of SCM is proposed based on the results of simulation analysis.Last, the paper put forward a method to test SCM. The test content is confirmed by analyzing the effect of the development of oil-gas field at the sea on the requirement of monitoringfunction for SCM, then according to the test object technology parameters and hydraulic test standard, and combined with testing scheme and performance characteristics of testing device, the testmethod for the SCM is proposed.
