Titanium and its alloys are widely used as biomedical materials, but due to some deficiencies for the performance, so the surface modification techniques becoming a hot research topic in recent years. Pure titanium surface micro-arc oxidation treatment can form ceramic oxide film on the surface layer. The substrate and the film combined firmly to improve the short comings of titanium alloys as biomedical materials. At the same time, the electrolyte introduced into the biological active elements such as Ca/P and so on , can increase the biological activity of ceramic film. Zinc is one of the important elements in human body,can promote cell proliferation?integrated performance and also has good antibacterial property. In this paper, preparation of contain zinc bioactive ceramic by micro-arc oxidation technology and test its performance.Through the BBD model of the response surface method, use micro-arc oxidation power supply parameters: oxidation time?power pulse frequency and the preparation of zinc acetate molar content in electrolyte as horizontal impact factors. Use oxide film layer surface zinc content?surface porosity size and surface element Ca/P values as the output response result,comprehensive discussion the level of influence on the result of the response.Experiments by potentiodynamic polarization curves of three group of samples: pure titanium substrate materials?ordinary containing Ca?P micro-arc oxidation ceramic group and bioactive ceramic membrane group of zinc corrosion resistance test. Compared with pure titanium materials, surface by micro-arc oxidation treatment can improve its corrosion resistance in human body fluids. By electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and the immersion test, for the above three groups of samples performance test of biological activity.Results show that the biological activity of zinc ceramic membrane has the best biological activity performance,Can rapid induce the hydroxyapatite (HA) deposit. Common Ca?P group also has a certain biological activity performance, but performance poorly compared with zinc group according to the results. While pure titanium substrate group has the worst performance biological activity, can not induce the hydroxyapatite deposit.Base on the four groups of experiment materials measurement: The control group (no zinc)?low zinc?Moderate zinc?high zinc group. To test the property of antibacterial activity?cell proliferation differentiation performance and bone integration performance. The results show that the micro-arc oxidation introduction of zinc in biological ceramic membrane element can make it has good antibacterial property?promote cell proliferation and differentiation property, with better integration in implanted bone performance, which can be shorten the healing time.Based on protein adsorption performance of three groups of test samples can get,Micro-arc oxidation ceramic membrane surface of zinc group also has the best protein adsorption performance.
