Noise pollution is one of the most important environmental problems in the development of modern society.In the case of unable to control the noise source,the development of various kinds of sound-absorbing materials has become the focus of researchers.TPE and TPEE are two kinds of polymer thermoplastic elastomer,which has rubber elastic and rigid plastic,with elastic plastic engineering reputation.In this paper,based on the matching impedance model and rubber / air model,the author proposes that the inorganic filler modified thermoplastic elastomer could be used to construct the multi-phase system to increase the sound absorption effect.This paper had done the following research work: 1,study on the best ratio of PP and SBS in TPE;2,study on the scanning electron micrographs of the pore number,pore size variation,the performance of acoustic damping effect and the mechanical property of TPE respectively modified by calcium carbonate and hollow glass bead;3,study on the scanning electron micrographs of the pore number,pore size variation,the performance of acoustic damping effect and the mechanical property of TPEE respectively modified by calcium carbonate and hollow glass bead.Firstly,the thermoplastic elastomer was prepared by blending PP and SBS,and the acoustic impedance properties were tested.It was found that the ratio of PP:SBS=30: 70 was the best whose acoustic impedance was the best,the peak value of Tan was the highest and its acoustic resistance was 1.22 times of PP.So we took the TPE as the reference sample to modify the experiment.Then TPE was modified by the inorganic particles.It was found that the damping properties and acoustic resistance of TPE modified by light calcium carbonate and hollow glass beads were improved and the acoustic resistance was increased to 1.5 times of the pure TPE.Especially in high frequency and low frequency,it was 1.5 times to the pure TPE.What's more,the acoustic impedance of modified TPE was 1.5 times of that of pure TPE.In addition,it was found that the dispersion of light calcium carbonate in TPE was uniform,and the mechanical properties were increased to 1.3 times of pure TPE.The agglomeration of hollow glass beads in TPE was more obvious than that of lightcalcium carbonate,and the mechanical properties of the hollow glass beads were also decreased.TPEE was modified the inorganic particles to improve damping and resistance properties.It was found that the damping properties of TPEE modified by light calcium carbonate and hollow glass beads were significantly improved and the transmission loss changed little,while the acoustic impedance value was 1.7 times of that of pure TPEE.The sound absorption curve of modified TPEE moved to the high frequency direction obviously.The improvement of the sound absorption of TPEE modified by the lightweight calcium carbonate was especially high.However,the sound absorption curve of modified TPEE the hollow glass beads moved to high frequency direction particularly evidently.In addition,it was found that the dispersion of light calcium carbonate in TPEE was uniform,and the mechanical properties were significantly improved,1.3 times of pure TPEE.The agglomeration of hollow glass beads in TPEE was more obvious than that of light calcium carbonate,and the mechanical properties of the hollow glass beads were also decreased.
