L-arabinose Lowering Blood Glucose And Weight And Relieve Constipation Functional Studies

On the basis of the previous studies,we observed the inhibitory effect of L-arabinose on sucrose absorption In vitro,and the effect of L-arabinose on glucose metabolism,lose weight and relieve constipation in mice.The purpose of this experiment is to provide a scientific basis for the research and application of L-arabinose on health products.The method of everted intestine of rats was used,and it was researched that the inhibitory effect of different concentration of L-Arabinose in saccharose in vitro,and discovered that additional 2% of LArabinose could inhibit absorption of 60% in saccharose,which supply scientific basis for the clinical experiment in the dose range.The paper was discussed that the effect of L-Arabinose on weight loss on nutritive obesity Kunming mice of the obesity model who was intervened by L-Arabinose.It was discovered that the 2 g/g/kg·BW · d dose group,compared with the model control group,the rats in body fat ratio and TG levels decreased by 36.84% and 35.18%,and the level of HDL-C increased by 47.27%(P < 0.05 or P <0.01).the result indicates that L-Arabinose has good slimming effect on nutritive obesity mice.According to the fasting blood glucose and weight,Kunming mice screened were randomly grouped,respectively with normal diet and high fat diet,along with L-Arabinose to intervene.Compared with the model control group in fasting blood sugar and Glucose Tolerance level,the effect of Glucose metabolism in mice was significantly enhanced(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01)in 100mg/d mice every day and2g/kg·BW·d dose groups though observation experimentally in 42 d and 60 d.The result shows that whether L-Arabinose was taken in the conventional method before the glucose tolerance test,sugar tolerance levels of mice were obviously enhanced.The relieve constipation effect of L-Arabinose on experimental constipation mice was discussed through establishing a mouse model of constipation with fed by 15 d,and found that 0.75g/kg·BW·d dose group,compared with the model group,theintestine propelling rates were improved by 51.11%,and the time of first grain of defecation in black is shortened 69 min,the quantity and weight of feces were increased 9.5 and 0.22 g.The result indicates that L-Arabinose can dramatically alleviate the symptoms of experimental constipation mice.In consideration of the unique function of L-Arabinose,it has the broad developing prospects in the health products.
