Cyprodynil is a kind of effective inhalation fungicide developed by Syngenta Company.It has a long-term therapeutic and protective effects controling gray mold,spotted leaf disease and other diseases,with potential market prospects.However,there are few enterprises in the industrial production of Cyprodynil,and the production costs is high.In order to improve the market competitiveness of the production,it is necessary to develop new production technologies to reduce the production costs.In this paper,5-chloro-2-pentanone was synthesized from acetylated propanol as raw material by chloration with hydrochloric acid.Under the action of liquid alkali,5-chloro-2-pentanone was cyclized for cyclopropyl methyl ketone,Under the influence of sodium alkoxide,the intermediate A(1-cyclopropyl-1,3-butanedione)was obtained from cyclopropyl methyl ketone and ethyl acetate by Claisen Condensation.Intermediate phenyl guanidine carbonate salt was prepared from the reaction between aniline and monochloride.Then Cyprodynil was prepared by dehydration and condensation between 1-cyclopropyl-1,3-butanedione and phenyl guanidine carbonate salt.Cyprodynil was obtained by 5 steps reaction,and the chromatographic purity was approximately 99.5%,the total yield was 72.3% that based on the starting material acetylated propanol.The mechanism of each step reaction and the influences of main factors were discussed in this paper,and the structures of target compound and important intermediates were characterized by MS,1H NMR etc.The materials are easy to gain and the operation are simple,which is suitable for industrial production,not only the costs of production is reduced,but also synthesis process involves intermediates have potential market prospects.The industrial design with annual output 200 tons of Cyprodynil synthesized from this method is determinated,including the process flow,equipment listing and pollution analysis,production material balance calculation.According to the material balance and cost accounting,the production costs are 63,000 RMB/ton.The market price of Cyprodynil is 170,000 RMB/ton.Sales by 95%,the sales of 32.3 millionRMB and net profit of 12.15 million RMB can be realized with annual output of 200 tons.
