In this thesis,two kinds of novel butynediol alkoxylate trisiloxane surfactants(butynediol ethoxylate trisiloxane(TBEO)and butynediol monopropoxylate trisiloxane(TBMP))were synthesized.Their physicol-chemical and applied properties in aqueous solution were investigated.TBEO was prepared by hydrosilylation with 1,4-bis(2-hydroxyethoxy)-2-butyne(BEO)and 1,1,1,3,5,5,5-Heptamethyltrisiloxane(HMTS).TBMP was also synthesized via hydrosilylation of Butynediol monopropoxylate(BMP)and HMTS.The reaction conditions,such as material feeding ratio,the dose of catalyst,reaction temperature and reaction time were discussed.The results show that the optimized reaction conditions for TBEO were:material ratio was n(BEO):n(HMTS)= 1.15:1,catalyst was 50 ppm,reaction temperature was 110? and reaction time was 3.5 hours.For TBMP were:n(BMP):n(HMTS)= 1.15:1,25 ppm,110? and 2.5 h.Structure characterizations of these surfactants were analyzed by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and 1H,13C and 29Si nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy.The equilibrium surface tension,adsorption model,aggregation behaviors dynamic spreading performances and foam property of these surfactants in aqueous solutions were investigated by surface tension,transmission electron microscopy(TEM),dynamic light scattering(DLS),contact angle and Ross-Miles techniques at 25?.Critical aggregate concentration(CAC)and the static surface tension measured at CAC were measured for TBEO and TBMP aqueous solutions,respectly.For both of these surfactants,dynamic surface tension were also studied with various concentrations and analyzed by diffusion-controlled model.Spherical assemblies could be assigned in aqueous solutions as suggested by analysis using TEM and DLS.Surfactant solutions could spread on Teflon and Paraffin film.Foam height of the solutions was zero.
