This paper analyses the research status of electronic detonators at home and abroad.The technology of electronic detonators has been quite mature in Germany,Japan,Australia and South Africa and so on,which has been widely applied in the blasting engineering.Domestic technology of electronic detonators is still in the stage of development.There are some shortcomings in electronic detonators which have been several enterprises developed.According to this situation,a kind of electronic detonator and its detonating system is designed.Based on the understanding of the principle and the internal structure of electronic detonators,the paper design the detonating system,the overall structure,the control circuit and the control command to electronic detonators.This paper also focuses on problems and solutions met in network tests.The performance of electronic detonators has been verified,through a large number of network tests and field engineering blasting tests.The main research results of this paper are as follows:Adopting digital delay chip controlling the working process of electronic detonators,the precision of electronic detonators is higher.Using two polar capacitors supplying the power to ensure the detonating system can still normal detonate in the case of power down 16s after initiating instructions issued.Only enter the correct password to the initiator,the detonating network of electronic detonators could be detonated,the security of electronic detonators is higher.Discussed high security of the electronic detonator from the electronic detonator itself to its network to be used.Proving the comprehensive cost is not high when using electronic detonators to instead of the traditional electronic detonators or nonel detonators.Electronic detonators instead of the traditional electronic detonators or nonel detonators can be expected just around the corner.The research contents of this article are a part of the research project form CETC54 and Hebei Satellite Chemical Factory,which have the use value,also provide a meaningful reference for other colleagues whose studying electronic detonators.
