This greatly stimulated the development of the blasting industry, It is more highly improved that blasting equipment manufacturing technology level, technology, and performance. Because the traditional blasting cap cannot meet the requirement of actual engineering blasting effect now, so how to improve the blasting of detonator performance (including precision of time delay, initiation network security, etc.) is a common problem of the relevant experts.Related to the development of the electronic detonator, the comparison of the abroad early, the Swedish Dynamit Nobel company just announced their first generation of the technology of electronic detonator and the corresponding electronic delay detonating system, in the early1980s. Later, with the needs of the production of the industrial and mining enterprises, the major blasting the company invested a lot of manpower, financial and material resources to a large number of production blasting experiment. It has achieved relatively good effect. For example Poland eDET company electronic initiation systems, Austin company E*Star electronic detonator initiation systems, Australia Custchem company I-kon electronic detonator system, South Africa AECI’s Electrodet electronic detonator system. It has been popularized and widely used in the world.The development of relevant domestic electronic detonators so far not satisfied with the product, although several companies have developed products, but encountered a high specification requirements blasting the majority still need to import, so we must be self-developed,to break the foreign monopoly, shorten the gap with the developed countries of the world.I have access to a large number of domestic and foreign literature, from a technical and research status, we study the basic principle of electronic detonators, internal structure, design methods.In this paper, the use of advanced embedded systems, mainly digital security keys detonate, online testing detonators, precision delay functions, extension of time to ensure accurate electronic detonators and detonating normal capacity.Microcontroller chip as P87C591used delay control unit in the underlying system.CAN bus in the form of data transmission, ceramic chip capacitors chip power and detonate as angry when empowerment, based on modular hardware requirements were designed memory modules, power modules, CAN communication interface module, which form a complete electronic delay system.The computer management network is controlled by using CAN bus and industrial Ethernet mode,give full play to the advantages of both, the design of a system based on ARM embedded gateway, using NXP’s LPC2478as the main chip. LPC2478ARM7TDMI-S is at the core of a microcontroller, the internal integration of the dual CAN controllers simplify peripheral circuit design, with fast processing speed, low power consumption and high reliability. After debugging, the design scheme of this system realized the security of the detonator detonating, on-line detection and precise time delay function, achieve the ability to control the safety of the electronic detonator detonating, effectively guarantee the safety of electronic detonator.
